Artwork
I have always made little things as "art" since childhood, and now I call my creative process as a career. I feel so lucky to have the passion, and a place to to pour my creative energy into, and to see and hear from my customers who end up with my creations. I have been a painter, glass artist, jewelry designer and maker, mask sewer, and have been dabbing in many other mediums. As I'm going into my third decade of business, I think the possibility is endless, and hope to be creating something new at all times.
My latest venture is to revisit 2D art projects through scratch art and spirograph. I have been playing with both media since childhood, and I really enjoy the processes very much. I try to combine these playful methods to create more sophisticated designs, and to accompany my jewelry pieces eventually. Meanwhile with my jewelry, I have been playing with sewing techniques again, and creating intricate designs sewn onto silver fabrications. This look is strikingly similar to black and white scratch art techniques, and I think it creates the interesting pairing for a set with the matching motif.
