Treasure Nest

Treasure Nests are little macaron like containers with rounded top and bottom, that opens up with hand sewn zipper to reveal tiny compartments inside. Small has one pocket to hold a ring or small trinket, Large can hold earrings and a pendant, earbuds, or anything small enough to to fit into two slits on bottom half, and a larger pocket on top. They are cushioned inside to protect your precious items, and tin framed on the outside for extra protection. 

Each fabric is carefully chosen for the perfect representation in such a small frame. Some are Charlie Harper designs with iconic stylized birds and animals, and others are small collections of fabric from many visits to fabric stores in the US and Japan. Inner fabric is very intentionally chosen too, to harmonize with the eye-catching outer design. 

I started this creation when I was making a ring for a special customer, who wished to have a container to showcase the ring he was presenting. It gave me an idea to have a jewelry case to go with my work, and thought how special that even the container of the jewelry could be coordinated. 

Large: 3"x3"x1" One pocket on one side, two small pockets on the other. 

Small: 2" x 2" x 1" One small pocket on bottom side.
