Parents Day is just around the corner

Parents Day is coming up on July 26th, 2026, and as a parent myself, I’ll admit it: I’ll take appreciation in any form it arrives. A quiet moment, a kind word, a little gesture that says I see you — it all lands. Parenting is wonderful, but it’s also a lot, and sometimes the smallest acknowledgment feels like a deep breath.

Lately I’ve been thinking about how hard it can be to choose gifts for the people who do so much. Parents, guardians, chosen family — everyone has their own tastes, their own rhythms, their own ways of finding joy. And honestly, sometimes the most thoughtful thing you can give is the freedom to choose something that speaks to them.

I’m someone who genuinely loves gift‑giving. I love the hunt, the surprise, the moment someone opens something and you can tell it really resonates. But I’ve also learned that sometimes the most practical — and still meaningful — gift is simply giving someone the option to pick what they actually love and will use or wear.

That’s why I wanted to remind you about the gift card option on my site. It’s not meant to be a big announcement, just a gentle offering for those moments when you want to give something thoughtful but don’t want to guess. A gift card lets someone choose the piece that feels right to them. And because they never expire, there’s no pressure. They can browse when inspiration strikes, not when the calendar tells them to.

I love the idea of gifting someone a little pocket of possibility — a quiet invitation to choose something beautiful for themselves. It’s simple, but it’s personal in its own way.

If you’re celebrating Parents Day this year — whether it’s for your own parents, the people who raised you, or the family you’ve built along the way — I hope you find a moment to share some appreciation. Speaking from experience: it really does matter.
