orange necklace

           The floating shape series was born after months of experimenting with sewing on metal. I have received several design awards for one-of-a-kind pieces like this Orange Necklace using the same technique that I developed. "Orange necklace" was one of the original piece which helped create other series that followed as my signature lines for years.

           Every shape is cut, domed, soldered, and hand-drilled with a tiny little drill bit to accept hand-stitched embellishment for the finish. Fabricated in sterling silver, then oxidized, or plated with 24k gold, or rhodium. There is no special care needed, since the silver is coated with non-tarnishing rhodium or clear lacquered. However, please be gentle with them because all stitched work is hand-sewn and a delicate finish.
